1. by no means : 결코 ~아닌

the problem is by no means simple, it requires a lot of expertise to solve

이 문제는 결코 단순하지 않으며, 해결하려면 많은 전문 지식이 필요하다.

she is by no means a novice in her field, she has years of experience and numerous accolades.

그녀는 자신의 분야에서 결코 초보자가 아니며, 수년 간의 경험과 많은 상을 가지고 있다.

The movie was by no means a box office hit, but it gained a loyal following over time.

그 영화는 결코 흥행 대박이 아니었지만, 시간이 지나면서 충성도 높은 팬층을 얻었다.

 

 

2. apart from  "제외하고" 또는 "이외에"

1. "Apart from the initial cost, there are no other hidden fees."
   - 초기 비용을 제외하고는 다른 숨겨진 비용이 없다.

2. "She enjoys all types of music, apart from heavy metal."
   - 그녀는 모든 종류의 음악을 즐기지만, 헤비 메탈은 제외한다.

3. "Apart from a few minor errors, the report was very well written."
   - 몇 가지 사소한 오류를 제외하면, 그 보고서는 매우 잘 작성되었다.

3. make extensive use of : ~하게 활용했다 

• She made excellent use of her time during the workshop
• 그녀는 워크숍 동안 시간을 훌륭하게 활용했다.
• They made creative use of recycled materials for the art project
• 그들은 미술 프로젝트를 위해 재활용 재료를 창의적으로 활용했다.
• The team made effective use of the new marketing strategies.
  • 팀은 새로운 마케팅 전략을 효과적으로 활용했다.

 

 

 

4. encompass = include 

this project will encompass a wide range of activities

our trip encompassed to go an amusement in korea

 

 

 

오늘은 익숙하게 사용하지 않았던 표현들이 많았고 단어의 의미와 활용이 다른 것들도 있어서 유용한 시간이였다
